Join us at Cook Shire Libraries for a month-long celebration of all the wonderful ways you can explore, connect, and learn.

From exciting events and activities to a chance to win prizes, there’s something for everyone! Discover why your library is more than just books—it’s a vibrant community hub where you can create, connect, and grow. 

Here’s a rundown of what’s happening:

Colouring-in Competition (5–21 February)

Unleash your creativity and enter our Colouring-in Competition! Pick up from your library, than bring your coloured masterpieces back in for a chance to win! Judging will take place on 24 February. Find out more. 

How Do You Library? Survey (Launches 10 February)

We want to know how you use our library! Complete our survey for a chance to win a fantastic book pack.

SCAM Information Session (12 February, 10:00 AM)

Join us for an important session on how to spot and avoid scams, with helpful tips to protect yourself. Find out more.

After school Heart Craft Day (12 February, 3:00–4:30 PM)

Kids can get crafty this before this years Valentine’s Day with a fun heart-themed craft session. Find out more. 

Library Lovers’ Day (14 February)

Celebrate your love for books on Library Lovers’ Day with a Blind Date with a Book and enjoy a morning tea from 10:30 AM. Find out more. 

Evening Book Club (19 February, 5:30–6:30 PM)

Join our book club and discuss great reads with fellow library lovers.

Tech Time (Every Wednesday 1:30–3:00 PM & Thursday 10:30 AM–12:00 PM)

Get hands-on with tech and learn new skills at our weekly Tech Time sessions. Find out more.
