Join us Friday 25 April 2025 as we honor and remember our heroes with ANZAC Day Services being held across the shire in Ayton and Cooktown. Pay tribute to our brave servicemen and women at the following locations throughout the day.
COOKTOWN
Dawn Service hosted by Cooktown RSL Memorial Club
6:00 AM Service to commence near the Powder Magazine at the far end of Webber Esplanade
ANZAC Day March and Public Service hosted by Cooktown RSL Memorial Club
10:15 AM Assemble at Cooktown RSL to march to the ANZAC Memorial Park
11:00 AM Public Service at ANZAC Memorial Park (or Cooktown PCYC if wet weather persists)
12 noon Back at the RSL Club for lunch and entertainment
AYTON/BLOOMFIELD
Dawn Service
5:30 AM Service to commence at Ayton Community Hub, Cenotaph
ANZAC March & BBQ hosted by Bloomfield River District Residents Association
11:00am Gather at Bloomfield Hall before the march to the Sports Oval
11:30am March and Service
12 noon Community BBQ and refreshments.
