Cooktown community unite to Support Domestic and Family Violence Prevention Month

Cook Shire Mayor, Cr Robyn Holmes and Cooktown District Community Centre (CDCC) CEO, Tracey Bolton, have come together to speak out during Domestic and Family Violence Prevention Month.

In the video message, the Mayor and CDCC CEO urge anyone experiencing domestic or family violence—or anyone concerned about a loved one’s safety—to reach out for help. Their message reinforces that support is available and no one should face these challenges alone.

If you or someone you know is experiencing domestic or family violence, confidential support is available through CDCC and other local services. Reach out. Help is here.
