Cook Shire Council takes part in today’s Under 8’s Day celebrations in Cooktown, joining the community in a vibrant morning of fun and learning for young children and their families.
Council was represented by the Events Team and the Cooktown Library Team, who each hosted stalls as part of a larger community-led event that celebrated the importance of early childhood development and play.
The morning was filled with smiles, laughter, and hands-on activities that brought families, educators, and community organisations together in the true spirit of collaboration and community.
