As part of the ongoing No Label, No Service Program, residents whose household wheelie bins have been identified as non-compliant or in need of replacement can dispose of them free of charge at the Cooktown Waste Transfer Station until June 30, 2025.
This initiative aims to support residents in maintaining safe and compliant waste services across the Shire.
In addition, replacement bins purchased from the Cooktown Waste Transfer Station remain 25% off until 30 June. Residents purchasing a new bin are reminded to bring their current rates notice as proof of the bin size they are replacing.
