Cook Shire Council will commence works to replace a section of water main in Lakeland from Monday, 16 June 2025.
The works will extend from outside the Lakeland Hotel on Foyster Drive, across Mulligan Highway to the Main Roads Depot, and continue down the highway to the Lakeland Roadhouse.
This essential upgrade will improve the reliability and efficiency of the local water network.
What to expect:
- Advance notice will be provided if temporary water supply interruptions are required.
- Road access will remain largely unaffected, with minimal disruption expected.
- Work hours will be managed to reduce inconvenience to residents and businesses.
