Cooktown Library team will host its final Storytime session for 2025 on Tuesday 3 December at 10am at Cooktown Events Centre, marking the end of another year of early literacy activities for local families.
The final session will feature a relaxed morning of stories, creativity and connection for young children and their caregivers. Families attending will be offered morning tea and invited to take part in a range of festive craft activities, including making bon bons, creating handmade cards and decorating their own wrapping paper.
Storytime has continued to be a popular program throughout the year, providing a welcoming space for children to explore reading, imagination and hands-on learning. The December session aims to wrap up the program on a fun and colourful note as families head into the holiday season.
The Cooktown Library team looks forward to welcoming the community for this final event and will share updates on 2026 programming in the new year.
