Cook Shire Council wishes to advise residents and road users that a sealing contractor is scheduled to mobilise to site on Monday 24 November 2025, as part of the ongoing upgrade of Cameron Creek Road.
Scheduled Works
- Sealing works are expected to commence on Tuesday 25 November 2025.
- Works are anticipated to continue throughout the week, with heavy machinery and increased truck movements in the area.
Weather & Material Dependent
- Please note that sealing activities are subject to weather conditions and material availability.
- If required, the sealing contractor may need to remobilise at a later date to complete any outstanding sections not ready during the initial visit.
Traffic Management
- Traffic control measures will be in place during construction.
- All road users are reminded to observe signage, follow directions of traffic controllers, and drive with caution.
