Cook Shire Council is excited to announce the winners of the Most Improved Yard category in this year’s Get Ready! Yard Clean-Up Competition.
The competition encouraged residents to tidy and prepare their properties, promoting safety and resilience ahead of the storm season. Entries were judged on the transformation from “before” to “after” photos, celebrating the hard work and effort put in by participants.
The winners are:
1st Place – Z. Pennell
2nd Place – H. McKean
Council thanks everyone who participated and helped make their properties safer and more resilient. The competition is part of ongoing efforts to support community preparedness and property maintenance across the Shire.
