John Street Oval will host a series of touch footy night games each Wednesday from 26 November to 17 December 2025, providing a relaxed and social sporting option for the community.
The sessions will run from 5:30 to 7:00 pm and are open to participants aged 10 years and over, icluding adult games. The initiative offers a simple way for residents to stay active during the warmer months, with free, informal games suitable for all skill levels.
Players can turn up on the night and join in, with no registrations or organised teams required. The focus is on participation and community connection, creating an opportunity for families, teens, and adults to enjoy a midweek activity together.
The touch footy evenings will continue weekly until 17 December at John Street Oval.
