Waste Transfer Stations
All Waste Transfer Stations will be closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Year’s Day.
They will operate according to their usual schedules outside these dates.
Cooktown Swimming Pool
CLOSED: Wednesday 24 December 2025 from 12 noon
REOPENS: Saturday 3 January 2026 from 1pm
Cooktown Events Centre
CLOSED: Wednesday 24 December 2025 from 12 noon
REOPENS: Monday 5 January 2026
Members will retain 24-hour gym access during this period.
