Cook Shire Council is encouraging local performers and community fundraising groups to register their interest in being involved in Council-run events throughout the year.
As part of ongoing efforts to support local talent and community initiatives, Council is creating a register of musicians, entertainers and community organisations interested in performing or fundraising at events across the Shire.
Opportunities may include live music, entertainment and fundraising activities at a range of Council-run events, varying in size and location. Being on the register allows Council to connect directly with local performers and groups when suitable opportunities arise.
Musicians, entertainers, solo artists, duos, trios and other performers are invited to register, along with community organisations and groups seeking fundraising opportunities to support their causes while contributing to local events.
Groups and performers interested in being considered for future opportunities are encouraged to register their interest by emailing mail@cook.qld.gov.au
