Cook Shire Council is pleased to announce that Weary Bay now has a new all-access public toilet, officially open for community use.
The facility has been designed to provide safe, inclusive and accessible amenities for people of all abilities, making it easier for residents and visitors to enjoy time at Weary Bay.
The project supports Council’s Community Plan and Corporate Plan – Theme 1: Providing Places for People, which focus on creating welcoming, functional public spaces that support community wellbeing and access for everyone.
Council thanks the community for their patience during construction and encourages users to help look after the facility so it can be enjoyed by all.
