Get ready, Cook Shire! The Cooktown Shire Hall will come alive with the sound of fiddles, reels and toe-tapping Celtic tunes this March for the St Patrick’s Day Jig. A night of music, dancing and good craic.
The celebration will be held on Saturday 21 March 2026 from 6:30pm to 10:30pm at Cooktown Shire Hall, promising a lively evening for the whole community.
Headlining the night is 33 1/3, a Celtic band travelling from Townsville. Known for their vibrant stage presence and infectious rhythms, 33 1/3 deliver a dynamic mix of traditional Irish favourites and modern Celtic classics that are guaranteed to get the crowd on their feet.
