Cook Shire residents aged 50 and over are invited to step confidently into the digital world at the upcoming Digital + You workshop, hosted at Cooktown Library on Wednesday 22 April at 10am.
The free hands-on session is designed to help participants build practical skills using their phone, tablet or computer in a relaxed and supportive environment.
The workshop will cover device basics, communication tools, online safety and how to access services online, essential skills in an increasingly digital world.
Digital + You aims to remove the stress and uncertainty that can sometimes come with new technology, offering friendly guidance where no question is too small. Participants are encouraged to bring along their own devices if they have them.
Morning tea will be provided, giving attendees the opportunity to connect with others while learning.
Bookings are essential as places are limited.
To reserve a spot, contact Cooktown Library on 4069 5009 or email cooktown_library@cook.qld.gov.au
Residents are encouraged to book early and take advantage of this free opportunity to build confidence and stay connected in the digital age.
