Due to Tropical Cyclone Narelle, the Cooktown Pool will close from 4:00pm today, Thursday 19th March, and will remain closed until further notice. All scheduled lessons and activities are cancelled.
For catch-up classes, please contact pool staff directly.
The Cooktown Gym will also close for members from 5:00pm today, and the 24-hour service will be unavailable during this time.
Residents are advised to monitor updates via the Cook Shire Council website and Disaster Dashboard, and to take necessary precautions to stay safe.
