Local creatives, artists and small business owners are invited to take part in two upcoming workshops designed to build confidence and skills in social media and marketing.
Held across Saturday 11 April and Sunday 12 April 2026, the Creative Business Workshops will provide practical, hands-on learning to help participants strengthen their online presence and promote their work more effectively.
The Social Media Essentials Workshop on Saturday will focus on building and refining social media skills, helping participants better understand how to connect with their audience and make their platforms work for their business or creative projects.
On Sunday, the Creative Marketing Essentials Workshop will explore ways to develop a strong brand and create engaging visual content using accessible tools such as Canva. Participants will learn how to design eye-catching materials and promote their work with confidence, without needing advanced design experience.
These workshops are suitable for a wide range of participants, including artists, musicians, entrepreneurs and content creators, whether they are just starting out or looking to enhance their existing skills.
Both sessions will run from 10:00am to 3:00pm at the Cooktown Events Centre. Bookings are essential to secure your place.
Community members are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to gain practical skills that can be applied immediately to support their creative or business goals.
