Cooktown Library to host special live-streamed evening with Trent Dalton
Cooktown Library is inviting the community to enjoy a special literary experience this April, with a live-streamed author event featuring award-winning and bestselling Australian author, Trent Dalton.
“An Evening with Trent Dalton” will take place on Tuesday 21 April. 6:30 PM doors open for a 7:00pm start, offering attendees the opportunity to hear directly from one of Australia’s most celebrated storytellers.
In this exclusive session, Trent Dalton will be in conversation about his latest novel, Gravity Let Me Go, sharing insights into his writing journey, creative process, and the stories that have captured the hearts of readers across the country.
The event will also include a live Q&A, giving participants the chance to ask questions and engage with the author in real time.
The free event is open to all community members, with Cooktown Library hosting a local viewing to bring people together for a relaxed and engaging evening.
For those unable to attend in person, an online option will also be available via QR code at the library or follow the link here, allowing everyone to be part of the experience from wherever they are.
