The much anticipated Cooktown Discovery Festival Regional Street Parade is set to return in 2026, bringing colour, creativity and community spirit to the streets.
This year’s theme, “Discover Our Culture”, invites participants to celebrate the rich and diverse heritage of the region through vibrant float displays, costumes and performances.
Community groups, businesses and individuals are encouraged to take part, with cash prizes on offer for the floats that best capture the spirit of the theme.
