Rossville Hall is set to come alive this Mother’s Day with a unique and engaging live performance for the whole family.
On Sunday 10 May, audiences are invited to experience A Bee Story, an enchanting circus production by the award-winning ARC Circus. Followed by a special interactive workshop with the performers, as well as a range of fun activities for children.
Designed for children and families, A Bee Story follows the journey of Queen Bee and Worker Bee as they rebuild their hive after it is destroyed by a bushfire. Combining acrobatics, juggling, dance, clowning and live music, the performance delivers a powerful message about teamwork, resilience and sustainability.
ARC Circus, based on the Gold Coast, is led by internationally acclaimed director Robbie Curtis (Circa, Cirque du Soleil, Circus Oz, Australian Ballet) alongside performer and creator Lizzie McRae. Their work blends high-level circus skills with storytelling that resonates across generations.
Following the performance, attendees will have the opportunity to take part in an interactive workshop, along with additional activities including a kids scavenger hunt, face painting, sausage sizzle and more — ensuring there’s something to keep little ones entertained throughout the day.
This family-friendly event is a wonderful way to celebrate Mother’s Day, bringing the community together for a shared experience of creativity, connection and joy.
