Get ready for a fun-filled night of music, dancing, games and prizes at the Cooktown Youth Disco!
The free community youth event will run from 6:00PM to 8:30PM on Friday 22 May 2026 and promises an energetic evening packed with dance music, interactive games, prizes and a free dinner in a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for local young people.
This year’s vibrant theme, “Funky flora and fauna,” encourages attendees to dress up in their best floral-inspired outfits for a colourful night of creativity, fun and self-expression.
The Cooktown Youth Disco is designed to bring young people together through positive youth engagement, social connection and community participation, making it one of the exciting youth events happening in Cooktown and the Cook Shire region this term.
Open to young people up to 17 years old, the event provides a fantastic opportunity for local youth to socialise, meet new friends and enjoy a fun-filled night of entertainment.
Children under 12 years old must be supervised by an adult.
