The Cooktown Swimming Pool has transitioned to its winter operating hours, continuing to provide residents and visitors with opportunities to stay active and enjoy the facility throughout the cooler months.
From Monday to Friday, the pool is open from 6:00am to 6:00pm, with a daily closure from 12:00pm to 1:00pm for lunch. Weekend operating hours are 12:00pm to 4:30pm on both Saturdays and Sundays.
The winter schedule allows swimmers to make the most of the warmer parts of the day while maintaining access to the facility for fitness, recreation and learn-to-swim activities.
Community members are encouraged to plan their visits around the updated hours and continue enjoying the many benefits of swimming throughout winter.
