Cook Shire Council will conduct a public auction of impounded vehicles on Monday 29 June 2026 at the Waste Transfer Station on MacMillan Street, Cooktown.
Members of the public are invited to attend, with vehicle inspections available from 9.00am. The auction will commence at 9.15am sharp.
The following vehicles will be offered for auction:
LOT 102 – 2006 Ford Territory Wagon
LOT 103 – 1999 Toyota Camry Sedan
LOT 104 – 2006 Hyundai Elantra Sedan
LOT 105 – 2007 Mitsubishi Outlander Wagon
LOT 106 – 2010 Mazda 6 Wagon
LOT 107 – 2002 Honda CR-V Wagon
LOT 108 – 2017 SsangYong Wagon
These vehicles have been impounded pursuant to Section 100(6) of the Transport Operations (Road Use Management) Act 1995.
Council offers no warranties and accepts no responsibility for the condition of the vehicles. Prospective buyers are encouraged to inspect vehicles prior to bidding.
Council reserves the right to withdraw any vehicle advertised before the auction.
