Grab your little pirates and prepare for a morning of stories, songs and seaside adventure when Pirate Playtime drops anchor at Cooktown Library.
Families with children aged 0–5 years are invited to climb aboard the library’s Musical Ship on Wednesday 16 September for a special pirate-themed First 5 Forever session filled with music, movement, storytelling and imaginative play.
Young adventurers will search for treasure, sing sea-worthy songs, enjoy pirate stories and discover the magic of books as they explore the Musical Ship. It’s the perfect opportunity for little ones to learn through play while making new friends and sharing a fun morning with other local families.
Whether your little pirate arrives dressed in a captain’s hat, eye patch or simply ready for adventure, everyone is welcome aboard. Morning tea will be provided, making it a relaxed and enjoyable outing for the whole family.
As the final First 5 Forever session for the school term, Pirate Playtime is a wonderful chance to celebrate the joy of talking, reading, singing and playing together before the holidays begin.
