Gather the family and head to Cooktown Library this Indigenous Literacy Day for an afternoon of stories, creativity, culture and connection.
On Wednesday 2 September, families are invited to come together to discover books and stories celebrating the voices, languages and cultures of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
There will be plenty for children to explore, with Storytime, creative activities, colouring and a free book giveaway. It’s a chance to discover something new, get creative and share in the joy of storytelling together.
