We know many locals rely on the Cooktown Gym as part of their regular routine. On Thursday 1 October, the gym will be temporarily closed from 8am to midday while scheduled maintenance is carried out.
The work will help keep the facility in good condition for everyone who uses it. The gym will reopen from midday once the maintenance is complete.
