Play and yarn | Rossville
After school is getting a little more creative in Rossville this Term 4.
Play and Yarn – Activities for Kids is an eight-week program giving local children the chance to make, create, learn new skills and spend time together.
There will be plenty to try, with activities ranging from making juggling balls and learning how to juggle, to colour mixing, tie-dye, nature crafts, coconut leaf weaving and creating toys and artwork from recycled materials.
Each session will also include simple mindfulness and wellbeing activities, giving children a chance to unwind after school, try something new and enjoy creating alongside others.
The Rossville program will be split into two age groups:
Weeks 1–4: Grades 3 to 6

When: Every Thursday for eight weeks from 15 October
Time: 2.30pm–4.30pm
Where: Rossville Town Hall
Activities will be adapted to suit the children taking part, with plenty of opportunity to get involved, learn, create and enjoy the afternoon.
