Spring into the Cooktown Markets

Spring into the Cooktown Markets

Had another look around the house and thought, I really need to do something with all this stuff?

Here’s your chance.

Following a great community response in September, Spring into the Markets is back on Saturday 17 October.

With the wet and disaster season approaching, now is the perfect time to tackle the cupboards, clear out the shed, tidy around the home and sort through the things you no longer need.

Before you throw it away, could someone else use it?

Bring your pre-loved clothes, tools, camping gear, toys, books, plants, household goods and other treasures along to the Cooktown Markets and turn your clean-up into a little extra cash.

SELL IT • SWAP IT • REHOME IT • KEEP IT OUT OF LANDFILL ♻️

Community groups and clubs are welcome to get involved too and use the morning as a low-cost fundraising opportunity.

When: Saturday 17 October 2026, 7am–noon
Where: Cooktown Markets
Stall fee: Just $10 for a once-off non-food market stall

Want a stall? We’ll help you get sorted.

You can pop into Council’s Main Administration Building in Cooktown, call us on 4082 0500, or complete the Market (Non-Food) Stall Application.
