Lakeland Housing Infrastructure Project – Survey & Investigation Works

Public notice Lakeland Housing Infrastructure project

Lakeland community are being advised that consultants engaged by Council will soon commence survey and geotechnical investigation works as part of the Lakeland Housing Infrastructure Project.

What to expect:

  • Survey works will take place across the Lakeland area and are non-destructive
  • Survey personnel may require short-term access to private properties to measure ground levels using standard surveying equipment.

Where possible, personnel will:

  • Identify themselves to residents before entering a property
  • Ensure any gates opened are securely closed upon exit
  • Geotechnical investigations will be carried out in public areas only, using drill rigs and excavators.
  • No impact to private property is expected from these investigations.

Timing:

  • Survey works are expected to commence from 13 April 2026 (weather permitting)
  • If delayed due to weather, works may commence from 20 April 2026

Community members are encouraged to speak with project representatives at a drop-in information session being held at:
