“Sweat Sessions,” a new group fitness class held at the Cooktown Events Centre, will officially kick off on Thursday 23 April. The sessions will run twice weekly on Mondays and Thursdays from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM, offering a consistent and convenient option for those wanting to build healthy routines.
Designed to cater to all fitness levels, the classes aim to create a welcoming and supportive environment where everyone feels comfortable getting involved. Whether you’re just starting your fitness journey or looking to maintain and improve your current level of fitness, Sweat Sessions provide a flexible and inclusive way to stay active.
The sessions will focus on general fitness, combining a mix of strength, cardio, and functional movement exercises, with options available to suit individual abilities. Participants are encouraged to go at their own pace while enjoying the motivation and energy that comes from working out in a group setting.
Participants can attend casually for $10 per class, with concession pricing available at $8 per session. For those planning to attend regularly, a 10-class pass is available for $80, making it even more accessible for ongoing participation.
