Cooktown Botanic Gardens set to come alive for 2026 Botanic Gardens Week

A week of creativity, nature, learning and community connection will come to life this May as Cook Shire Council celebrates Botanic Gardens Week 2026 at the Cooktown Botanical Gardens.

Running from Monday 18 May to Sunday 24 May 2026, the week offers a diverse program of free and low-cost activities designed to encourage people of all ages to explore, enjoy and connect with one of Cooktown’s most treasured natural spaces.
