Cook Shire Council is committed to maintaining high food hygiene standards across our region.  All food businesses have important obligations, and to support them, Council offers free access to a comprehensive food hygiene training program, the I’m Alert Food Safety Training.

 

I’m ALERT Food Safety Training

Developed by qualified Environmental Health professionals, the I’m Alert Food Safety Training offers the equivalent scope of a two-day consultant-delivered course. Its interactive, logical, and user-friendly format is designed to equip you and your staff with the essential skills and knowledge necessary to handle food safely and comply with the Food Safety Standards for Australia and New Zealand.

Program Features
  • User-Friendly: The program is easy to follow, featuring an engaging presentation and interactive quizzes.
  • Multilingual Support: Includes options to view text and captions in Chinese.
  • Certification: Upon completion, participants can print a training acknowledgment form to include in their staff records.
