AUSTRALIA DAY

IN COOK SHIRE

Australia Day is an annual favourite with a regular attendance of locals who help us acknowledge and celebrate our outstanding citizens and be reminded of all the reasons why being an Aussie is so great.

HERHEREhFirst introduced in 1991, the Cook Shire Council Australia Day Awards are endorsed by Federal and State Governments in line with the National Australia Day Awards and recognise outstanding achievement within our community.

Individuals and groups from within our community who have made a noteworthy contribution during the year, and/or have contributed outstanding service to the community over a number of years are eligible.
