Practical advice to get your property bushfire ready.

Join local fire and land management experts for an evening of practical information about bushfire preparedness and safer backyard burning.

 

Topics will include:

• preparing your home and property
• maintaining firebreaks
• reducing fuel loads
• permits and rules for burning off
• planning a safer backyard burn
• cultural and cool burning practices
• important contacts and seasonal dates

There will be a community Q&A, an information stall and a free BBQ dinner cooked by local Rural Fire Brigades.
