DFV Candlelight Vigil – Cooktown

Join us for the Cooktown Candlelight Vigil as part of Domestic and Family Violence Prevention Month. This special evening offers a space for our community to come together in remembrance, reflection, and support for those impacted by domestic and family violence.

We will gather at William Daku Park to honour the lives of those who have been affected—those who have experienced violence, those who have witnessed it, and those we have lost. As the sun sets, we will hear from guest speakers and stand in solidarity, raising awareness and showing that our community cares.

Candles and refreshments will be provided. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Together, we remember. Together, we stand. Together, we say no to domestic and family violence.
