Let imaginations run wild and creativity take centre stage these September school holidays!
Box Jelly Theatre Co. is back in Cooktown for four action-packed days of acting, improvisation, movement, character creation and theatre fun.
Designed for young people aged 10 and over, this dynamic workshop gives participants the chance to build confidence, explore their creativity and develop performance skills in a fun and supportive environment.
Across the four days, participants will take part in acting games, improvisation challenges, voice and diction exercises, character and scene work, stage movement, costume and prop exploration, and rehearsals for a short play.
When: Monday 28 September – Thursday 1 October 2026
Time: 9am–3pm each day
Where: Cooktown Shire Hall
Age: Recommended for ages 10+
Cost: $25 per person for the full four-day program
Bring: Lunch and a water bottle
Provided: Light refreshments
Spaces are limited and registration is essential. When you book for one workshop, you book for all four.
The workshop is supported through the Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF), a Queensland Government and Cook Shire Council partnership to support arts and culture in regional Queensland.
